How to get your certificate

The first question we are asked is "do I HAVE to get a pool compliance certificate?" The short answer is, YES, if you're selling or leasing a property in NSW. Let the team at Oasis take the hassle out of pool compliance.

How to get a compliance certificate

Step 1 - Book an inspection
In NSW, pool compliance certificates must be issued by qualified and registered certifiers. It's as simple as one of our team visiting your home or premises to inspect the pool and its surrounds for compliance in accordance with the NSW Pools Legislation.

Step 2 - Book an inspection
One of our friendly team will meet you at your home to inspect your pool or spa. This is when we work through the NSW Pool Compliance checklist to make sure your pool is compliant. We take photos of your pool or spa and take detailed notes to add to your official report.

Step 3 - Receive your certificate
As soon as the inspection is complete our team are instructed to complete their report. We'll then upload your report to the NSW Government Swimming Pool Register and send you the official copy of your compliance certificate.

What to do if you're found 'not compliant'
Like any certification, there's a chance that something about your pool or spa won't meet the required standard. If that happens, don't panic. Our team will offer you tailor-made guidance so you can understand what you need to do to become compliant and do whatever we can to prioritise a re-inspection so you can get your compliance certificate quickly.

How much is a pool compliance certificate?
Different certifiers charge different fees, and like any service, you generally get what you pay for. Beware of any certifier that offers rates that are too good to be true, they often contain hidden fees and charges.

The certifiers at Oasis Pool Compliance certify a standard pool using the process outlined above for $280 inclusive.
